JAMIE HEASLIP - RUGBY CELEBRATION PARTY
Ireland’s rugby heroes partied the night away as they celebrated their Six Nations triumph in style.
The team were spotted at a special homecoming bash in Sam’s Bar on Dublin’s Dawson Street, just hours after returning to Ireland following their
nail-biting victory in Paris.
There was no expense spared as a free bar was put on for players to toast their triumph with ecstatic fans well into St Patrick’s Day.
Brian O’Driscoll, Rob Kearney, Conor Murray and Cian Healy were among those spotted celebrating the historic win.
An onlooker said: “It was an unbelievable night. It was great to see them all out enjoying themselves.
“The Six Nations win has given the whole country a lift, so it’s only right they had the party of a lifetime.
“They were so friendly too. They were really happy to chat to the fans. Everyone went home with a smile on their face.”
The boys were entertained with a DJ set from Colm Donnelly, who spun Queen’s We Are The Champions to huge cheers.
He tweeted: “A privilege to DJ for @BrianODriscoll @ProperChurch @KearneyRob last night in @SamsBarDublin – hope u enjoyed it lads.”
Also performing on the night was saxophonist Aneta Moran who drew a huge response from the crowd.
But it was a rousing rendition of Ireland’s Call at the end of the night which really brought the house down.
For the fans lucky enough to make it to the party it was a dream come true.
Wendy Murphy tweeted: “Great night at @SamsBarDublin last night with the Irish rugby team, such nice lads.” Gary Nolan wrote: “Just found what I’ve always wanted in @SamsBarDublin #COYBIG”
Emily Keegan tweeted: “Think @SamsBarDublin is one of my new favourite spots. Amazing night last night.”
Claudia Martin wrote: “Loving the tunes in @SamsBarDublin – especially Ireland’s Call.”
Man of the moment Brian O’Driscoll was in terrific form.
One patron said: “You never saw the smile leave his face once all night.”
BOD certainly seemed to enjoy the night after the win he so richly deserved, and he had a message for his fans on twitter yesterday morning.
He wrote: “Happy St Paddy’s hangover.”[/QUOTE]
What cunt wrote that tripe? As for the attention seeking twats that tweeted all that nonsense - it’s great their life is now complete.
