Shaping up to be the best in a long time.
The two Milan clubs have splashed the cash and look like they will defeinitely improve on last year’s showing.
Roma have also done a lot of positive work on their attack and if they get a couple of quality full backs and some decent cover at centre back then they are in with an excellent shout.
Lazio have more or less kept their main players and added a few decent promising young player, still need a top striker for me though.
Juve have lost big players in Tevez, Pirlo and Vidal and while they have been replaced (with the exception of Vidal) it may take them time to settle. I think they will probably be stronger in attack this season but midfiled is definitely lighter without a top class addition (or two) in that area.
Napoli are an interesting one, under new management and I think there could be exciting times ahead, no realy big name signings but on the face of it they look like they have made a few shrewd buys.
Fiorentina’s market has been quite disappointing, losing Salah was a massive blow. Savic is a big loss too as he’s a very good defender, they’ve also had the likes of Aquilani and Pizarro depart on frees so they have had a lot of replacing to do and haven’t seen much money coming in for all these departures. In saying that, their pre-season has been very impressive and Sousa is also new to job, so I look forward to seeing how they go.
Sampdoria have just signed Cassano and it looks like Nagatomo and Balotelli could be arriving!
The seasons kicks off on Saturday week.
