Delighted with Napoli win and performance but Milan are fucking pitiful. Awful stuff for Allan’s goal and they were so static for Insigne’s first even though he took it well. Allan was the signing of the summer though, reminds me of a young Makalele. Sarri has them motoring well but still concerned at times about defence.
Big 90 minutes for Mijhalovic now. Torino are a well drilled outfit and Milan will find it difficult to break them down. Big fan of Zappacosta and Baselli for Torino.
Montolivo is class, plays the game with such grace and elegance.
Good showing from Milan so far - switched to a 4-3-3 today.

I’d implore anyone to stick the second half of this game and just watch Montolivo. He is perfection as a midfielder.
He has poise and composure on the ball, imposes himself on the game, his passing range is magnificent, comfortable off either foot and is able to put a lovely disguise on the ball.
Defensive side of his game is brilliant, constantly where he needs to be and reads play perfectly.
Never shirks responsibility either, demands the ball and drives him team mates on. Terrific leader.
Over the last 5 years what would be your best Italian midfield trio to play in a 4-3-3 or 5-3-2 or 4-2-3-1, assuming all were in top form and top fitness? I presume it’s 3 of Pirlo, DDR, Marchisio, Montolivio?
De Rossi and Monty are best in the central role that Pirlo has operated in that time. Pirlo obviously is a banker.
I’m going to give a cop out answer and say all 4 in a 4-3-1-2 with Montolivo in the advanced role like we used in Euro 2012.
