He’s a former world champion, I’d expect him to take Anderson this evening - Anderson could never handle the white hot heat of Firmley Green and Klaasen reveled in it, in a high stake game I know who I’d be backing.
Similarly I’ll give Barney the nudge in the other game - this is like a Kerry v Ulster team semi-final though. Barney has had a very arduous trip here to the semi, he could easily have gone in the last 3 rounds but showed great resolve to come through them, the question is has he had to go to well too much? On the other hand Lewis has benefitted from a pretty handy draw to this stage and will come in a lot fresher. It would be a truly remarkable achievement for Barney to win this tournament and I hope he does. If he’s able to keep the level of the past two games up he will rattle the fuck out of Lewis and take him.

Lewis wins the first three legs to take the first set.
Barney with a magnificent 161 checkout looked like he was going to level it up but Lewis takes out 100 with tops tops to take a 2-0 lead.
Barney looks battle weary.
Lewis is a different kettle of fish to Smith, I fear. Barney needs something big soon.
That 161 was it and he blew the fuck out of it in the next leg.
