2015/16 William Hill PDC World Darts Championship

Wes Newton with a Newton Heath-esque performance as he suffers four straight set defeats to lose 4-0 to James Wade…

I see Eric Bristow is mentoring Wadey. What a dream team.

Embarrassing last leg there between Norris and Murnan as both players toiled in the madhouse.

Eric having a right cut off Norris too.

Nice 66 checkout ( bull - D8 ) from Norris there to win the 3rd Set.

Murnan allergic to Doubles.

3-1

H’on Chuck.

H’on the BDO.

Eric very hard on Chuck alright. Okay his finishing was suspect, but he can score heavily. I doubt he’ll be too bothered by facing Jenkins or Webster in the next rd.

This will be bittersweet viewing as I’m very fond of both players.

Hopefully Jenkins uses his prize money to get his two front teeth sorted out.

Webster 4 - Jenkins 0

Sad sight was poor Terry. :frowning:

Suljovic in trouble here down 2-1 to Pallett.

The Gentle held his nerve well there, but the Pallett lad would wqnt to discover some other doubles that aren’t tops or 10’s.
Good match.

Kevin Painter takes the first set against an out of sorts Phil Taylor. Earlier there were routine 4-0 victories for Adrian Lewis and Peter Wright.

I’m getting an urge to lump on Lewis. Please advise.

Painter still available at 5/2 here in play.

Long way to go, Sid.

He’ll need to break him here.

Once Taylor is off his game in this tournament he’s not a great man to get it back.

3/1 now on Painter. I can see him doing this.

Deciding leg in set 2 now will tell a lot.

Can he break Taylor’s throw? That will be key.
