No it is not Brolly says it everytime kerry have played in the last two years about how cynical they are. Your in complete dream land.
Sean Cavanagh has decided big, tight games throughout his whole career for Tyrone. None more so when he carried the Tyrone full forward line in the 08 final against Kerry. That comment just summarises how little you know about football, Cavanagh has been the biggest big game player over the past 10-15 games. He is the man for big occasions.
He done sweet fuck all today.
Brolly is on his own there, who else really nailed to them like they do to Tyrone. The stats say Kerry are the most cynical of the big teams around but why don’t they get the heat on that? They don’t, Tyrone get it.
because Kerry players take their medicine. Tyrone don’t. They whinge and moan.
What game this year were Tyrone cynical when there was no need for it to try and gain advantage to win a close game? Keeping in mind that in close games all teams are cynical, none more so than Kerry. Tyrone had a genuine grievance having a lad banned for simulating injury when its been going on for years with no punishment. Why wasn’t Shields banned for just as bad an offense?
They don’t take their medicine, they don’t have it dished to them by a biased media.
A today.
but the media has no effect on the result.
Was The Border Bull at the game today, pal?
They do. You had Deegan booking a Tyrone player for diving for a certain penalty, all because Tyrone are pillared for antics all the other top teams engage in, they are the fall guys here. You don’t look like it when a Northern team comes down and outclassed you.
Unfortunately not, pal. I could have done with him in a rather heated exchange today.
I would be fairly sure kerry would have at least got a replay.
Immediately I thought it was a dive, on more looks i’M not sure. I actually doubted the first penalty too and while there was contact (remembering it’s not soccer) I think the Tyrone lad was throwing himself down anyway.
Big teams get decisions, there is no doubt about that. There is a human nature and psychological basis to that and I read a couple of different articles on it in the past. It’s has similar reasoning to teams playing like underdogs.
The better team won though. Donnelly, McCann and Cavanagh were out of the game which is obviously something g Kerry were working on. Again they got their match ups right.
The good thing for Tyrone though is their young lads looked good and eventually they’ll start making better decisions and taking goals. They look to have a bit of size coming thru as well which they badly need. I think they’ll be a threat in a year or two but they will have to get refs on their side first. Whatever happened today was karma. And brolly is right, there is a referee mindset in these instances that is hard to ignore.
No they got done for that because a tyrone lad made a complete tit of himself two weeks ago.
Kerry were far more cynical than Tyrone today. O’Donoghue collapsed every time the ball was nearby and bought at least 2 scores, Kerry had at least 3 black card offenses, the Tyrone offenses were yellow according to the rules. Didn’t see any Tyrone player diving and faking injury today like O’Donoghue and Cooper.
James O’Donoghue made a tit of himself about a month ago, we didn’t hear much about that though.
For everyone that says if Tyrone got the second penalty it was curtains for Kerry. What happened after the first Tyrone goal? Kerry woke up and kicked four points to one.
What happened after Tyrone’s first goal? Mark Bradley scored a cracking point, that’s what happened.
I used to love Tyrone and supported them in the all irelands against kerry but their antics recently are sickening. I’d love to see Kerry outclassed but they rarely are and definitely not today.
was that before or after McCurry completely shat his pants?
