2015 All Ireland Football Championship - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE IT STOP

You don’t like it being brought up do you? The fact he’s not the great player he is proclaimed to be.

Why can’t he have a go at Cooper?

There are people on here saying you can’t have a go at the ref because Tyrone threw it away themselves. There’s no doubt that Morgan in particular was the cause of a couple of points for Kerry and missed a few himself. But that doesn’t mean that the referee wasn’t culpable himself. He got lots of credit for an obvious black card decision (though I’m not sure he was going to do anything about it until the linesman called him over). He got one penalty decision wrong, at least one, probably two more black card decisions wrong and plenty else wrong.

Cooper didn’t play well today. Ger Canning was waffling on about him having ice in his veins when Kerry were winning but he wasn’t a real factor when the game was in the balance.

It would be an awful boring forum and society if we all had to just praise the winning team universally and couldn’t point out anything else, lest it be construed as having a chip on our shoulder.

And after the vilification of Tyrone (mostly justified but definitely selective) in the media for the past couple of weeks there is no doubt that Tyrone fans, players, management should feel absolutely entitled to point out double standards. Cooper exaggerated a couple of things today, one of which resulted in a black card. The saintly portrayal of Cooper on RTÉ is nonsense. Kerry ably demonstrated their cynicism today. They benefited from it and won’t be stopping it any time soon. But they were certainly helped by Deegan keeping an eye out for any Tyrone “shennanigans” and turning a blind eye to equivalent actions from Kerry.

I couldn’t care else if you bring it up.

and that is Tyrones own fault.

No it’s the fault of the Southern media who turn a blind eye to Kerry’s cynicism.

Again, go back to the decisions. The black card decisions regarding McNamee and Enright were important, but the game was decided by the second penalty decision. That’s the decision that people should be focussing on.

One point down, five minutes left, a goal for Tyrone at that stage and Kerry are not getting out with a win. A draw at best and that’s highly doubtful. Dress it up any way you want. What happens afterwards is affected by what happens before it.

No its not. Everyone knows kerry are cynical but they accept it. Tyrone always whinge how its an agenda always the ref or fucking rte.

Also Kerry are cynical when there is a need for it to win the match. Tyrone are just cynical for the sake of it or else maybe to cover up their complete inadequacies as gaelic footballers.

Stephen O’Brien for me

Is Lineker getting the boot ?

Why would a team be cynical if there was no need for it to win a match?

Absolute bullshit, where was Tyrone’s cynicism against Sligo, Limerick, Tipperary? They only need to be cynical where they are playing the big teams and that’s the same as Kerry.

Kerry are far more cynical than Tyrone, the stats prove that but the media don’t want to discuss this.

Nope the game was decided by the three goal chances missed before the second penalty. The game was decided by Morgan handing Kerry three handy ones. The second penalty decision should have meant shit at that stage as Tyrone should have been out of sight

There so many points to how we should have won that game. Ultimately despite the poor refereeing decisions we were on the wrong hand we only have ourselves to blame, the chances were there and we fluffed them, Morgan gifted Kerry a number of easy scores.

The free given against McCarron at the start of the second half was an absolutely shocking decision.

I don’t know ask the tyrone team and management.

but what has the media got to do with it? Kerry are cynical and win. Tyrone are cynical and make complete tits of themselves.

Had the radio on driving home and Donnchadh Walsh seemed to think that was the first time Kerry beat Tyrone in Croke Park. He mentioned it more than once. Very odd

Ditto Sean Cavanagh who goes missing regularly. Hence not a great.

Gooch actually looked for more ball when game was in melting g pit than any other time. Sign of a great player.

He does dive though and as hard as the belt was he was going down anyway and made a meal of it.

Not like kerry lads to be understated.

He was tripped. That should have been a black card as well.

Incorrect, where was our cynicism in the games against Tipp, Sligo or Limerick? It didn’t exist, all the top teams will use cynicism when they face each other, it’s only brought to light when Tyrone play though, everything else is hush, hush, sweep, sweep.
