Yes, nobody really has stood out above the rest for Kerry or Dublin. Brogan or one of the Kerry midfielders are the likeliest candidates.

A Dublin or Kerry player will more than likely win it, though. Jack McCaffrey or Anthony Maher, perhaps. Most likely whoever wins Man of the Match in the final.
But McManus has been the best footballer in Ireland this year.

N9 certainly not. I was highlighting mayo ineptitude and game management.
They got it woefully wrong.
- Ball into Aidan O Se was poor, it took one of their best players out of the game. When he was in the middle and at 11 briefly he was having joy.
- throwing the exact same thing at a team in a replay rarely works. The fact they were throwing a failed tactic beggars belief, at least for the entire 70 mins.
- Seamus O Se was retarded. It was indulgent and selfish. Cooper deserved sanction but the reaction was over the top.
- with o Se off the mayo management inexplicably took off Moran. The timing played right into Gavin’s hands who’s planned subs had even more of an impact. Mayo’s strength was blown apart.
- A. Moran did a few selfish things again, after doing the right thing for goal. Was a killer
- the dissappearING act for first goal. How much did Colm Boyle lack of ability as a sweeper have to be highlighted. ?
My general point was mayo played into Dublin hands. Kerry certainly won’t do that. Dublin took their chance excellently. But it’s rubbish to be hailing Gavin’s subs or tactics or anything like that. The guys who came on had a great impact but Mayo certainly facilitated it.

Bernard Brogan’s point being wide in the original game and Ger Cafferkey marking Diarmuid Connolly in the replay.
Cafferkey was marking Rock to begin with yesterday and switched onto Brogan in the second half when Dublin made changes to their attack.
Cafferkey marked Rock. Keegan marked Connolly.
For periods. Not for much of the game though. It was even obvious on TV ffs.
