I hope its one of those duplicate tickets similar to the ones floating around before the Dublin v Mayo game.

Ed Woodward has already bought them on Ebay. You’re quids in.

Seriously, can this rambler fella be this dumb?

Could be an Evening Herald journalist.

Of course. That explains it.

Any explanation for glasagusban?

Lads maybe ye should add canned laughter to ye’re posts. It might help make them mildly amusing to someone.

Have you figured it out yet?

In fairness, they could never be as amusing as yours tonight.

Trouble in Mayo, it would appear.

Donie Buckley apparently GONE and rumours that at least some players are not happy with the current management.

Someone just done themselves out of an extra 100 euro

As I strolled through St Stephens Green at lunchtime today, the junkies/winos who have taken up residence near the main gate were discussing the All Ireland final and their plans to watch it.

The GAA embraces all of Ireland’s children and all of Ireland’s children embrace it.

You wouldn’t blame them. They were ridiculously naive against Dublin, even after getting another shot at it.

I give up

Some time or later the players have take responsibility for their own mistakes. Mayo were in a winning position with 15 minutes to go in that game and fucked it away.

It’s not the management’s fault that Keegan fucked away a great chance to put them 5 points up with the clock ticking down,

It’s not the management’s fault that Cillian O’Connor switches off and doesn’t track his man back.

It’s not the management’s fault Cafferkey inexplicably shows Brogan down the inside of him and bearing down on goal.

It’s not the management’s fault that Hennelly pussies out of 70/30 ball in his favour.

Mayo players have got a soft ride over the past few years with managers picking up the brunt of the flak for their collapses at crucial stages. The bottom line is there is a very limited impact a manager can make with 10 minutes to go in a game, in that time it’s the players who are the orchestrators of their destiny.

Were there mistakes made on the sideline by the Mayo management in the closing stages in the game against Dublin? Yes. Was it the reason they lost the game? No.
