2015 All Ireland Football Championship - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE IT STOP

Who did Murphy mark in the AI final last year? O’Connor or McHugh?

But shur that shite goes on on those daytime shows every day, you’re only getting the back up because he wore a Kerry kit for a laugh. Claiming its enough to make you support Dublin is horseshit.

Ryan McHugh if memory serves me correctly.

O Se and Murphy are both injured are they not? I had heard they were from my sources.

Informative rating.

I doubt Murphy would have started in any case, he doesn’t have the physicality for Dublin and was given the runaround by Bradley in the semi-final. Rain is promised Sunday as well which suit the more physical players.

Ya that’s the word alright, but certainly in Murphys case it is just an injury you get sorted in the off-season and wouldn’t stop him playing. MOS is apparently hammy, and I think that added to the tactical approach to it.

I reckon they’re holding him back to take up Alan Brogan when he enters the fray.

Of course it is! I’d never support the Dubs #remember1983

I’d agree there is a tactical angle to it too. I think the Donaghy one is clear cut, Geaney is just a better player.

Far better overall player, and apparently Donaghy has been dogshit since before semi-final at training as well.

Dublin will be well bet by the time Mcmemnain comes on. fitzmaurice has to be seen publicly to plan something for him as it would be beyond embarrassing if Mcmenmin was to beat Kerry the same way 3 times in a row. Kerry will move it fast and I expect their wing forwards to pin back the dubs half backs. hammer the hammer. The Gooch to sit in the pocket and pick pases all day to geaney and o Donoghue with O’Brien running in to collect. Ciarrai to win comfortably.

Tell em nothing

Definitely a dummy team, I heard Cian O Sullivan has the plague.

Dublin: S Cluxton; J Cooper, R O’Carroll, P McMahon; J McCarthy, C’O Sullivan, J McCaffrey; D Bastick, B Fenton; P Flynn, D Connolly, C Kilkenny; P Andrews, D Rock, B Brogan.

I’d agree with Joe McMahon’s summation.

Tyrone’s Joe McMahon missed this year’s All-Ireland semi-final against Kerry through injury, but he saw enough from the bench to suggest that Sam Maguire may be heading back to the capital for the third time in five years.

The Red Hands spurned a host of goal-scoring opportunities, but Dublin are unlikely to be so accommodating – a resurgent Bernard Brogan has six to his name in this year’s Championship, and whenever Kerry tormenter-in-chief Kevin McManamon takes the pitch, like clockwork a game-winning major usually follows.

While Kerry are led by possibly the most astute manager in the game, Eamonn Fitzmaurice, McMahon believes even he will struggle to find the antidote to a Dublin side that has amassed 18-106 in just six championship matches, an average of almost 27 points per game.

“From my own experience I would go with Dublin - Tyrone had chances in the semi-final to kick on and win the game [against Kerry] and Dublin will probably have more experience in that sense. I think Cluxton’s kick-outs and their breaking at pace can cause Kerry problems.

“Tyrone exposed them a bit when they did run at them and I feel Dublin can do the same – in saying that I can’t see there being much in it and I think Kerry have a lot to offer.”

Kerry are aiming to complete an historic minor-senior double for the second year running on Sunday (a feat that has only been achieved once before – by Kerry in 1931/32), but McMahon sounded a note of regret concerning Tyrone’s penultimate round loss against the Kingdom a month ago.

“Well I thought they were good in patches, I just felt that Tyrone definitely asked questions when they went at them and had a few decisions by Maurice Deegan gone our way it might have changed the outlook of the game.

“In saying that our own decisions and our own opportunities could’ve presented a chance to win the game and we didn’t take it.”
