2015 All Ireland Football Championship - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE IT STOP

When the Southern media have tried to devalue the achievements of the Tyrone team who were never allowed play on a level playing field and had the parameters skewed against them then I feel it necessary to point out a few home truths. Your opposition to Ulster teams and will to have them restricted has been well noted by me on here.

That’s a touching, genuinely appreciated gesture, mate.

Dublin by 3

Kerry by 5.

You are a bright light sid. You’ve just been a little dimmer lately. And that hurts us all.

Where are the slanted fields of which you speak?

Team of the Championship

  1. Kealy
  2. McMahon
  3. McNamee
  4. McCarron
  5. McCaffrey
  6. Keegan
  7. Harte
  8. Parsons
  9. Maher
  10. Diarmuid O’Connor
  11. Kilkenny
  12. Mattie Donnelly
  13. Brogan
  14. Andrews
  15. McManus

As much as I’d like to see him in there, I’d have Fenton ahead of Parsons

Great call again mate

Hon Banty

The 4 minutes of additional time would suggest the ref added the time taken for frees at the end so a non issue.

The game was stopped for about two minutes during that four.

From a Monaghan POV, surprised Wylie got the nod for Young Player; shows the dearth of talent on display this year. Mone should be ahead of Corey and O Connell, on this, and any, year’s performances.

Dublin’s footballers look to be set for some further silverware with three players from the All Ireland champions set to contest the Player Of The Year Award for 2015.
Jack McCaffrey, Bernard Brogan and Philly McMahon have been shortlisted for the Award which will be voted on by GPA members.
Mayo’s Diarmuid O’Connor, Donegal’s Ryan McHugh and Monaghan’s Ryan Wylie have been short-listed for the Young Footballer Of The Year Award.
The 45 man short-list for the GAA/GPA All Stars is unsurprisingly also dominated by Dublin with 11 nominations.
However, Stephen Cluxton has missed out on a nomination for the first time since 2010, while there’s also no place for Paul Flynn either who was chasing a fifth successive award.
Nine counties are represented in all.
Kerry follow Dublin with eight nominations, Mayo and Tyrone have seven each, Donegal five, there’s four for Monaghan, while Fermanagh, Westmeath and Laois have one apiece.
The awards will be presented at the Convention Centre in Dublin on Friday 6 November.

McAliskey and McCurry more deserving of one than Sean Cavanagh.

Donnelly will get our token all star though personally feel Petey Harte had a better season and is more deserving. In saying that I feel both should have one.

McNamee will be jewed out of one as well.

I’ll pick the team that will be chosen right now.

  1. Kealy
  2. Enright
  3. O’Carroll
  4. McMahon
  5. Keegan
  6. O’Sullivan
  7. McCaffrey
  8. Maher
  9. Fenton
  10. Donnelly
  11. Kilkenny
  12. D Walsh
  13. Brogan
  14. O’Shearer
  15. McManus

I’d be utterly shocked if it differs from that, not that I agree with it.

Bradley also deserved a YPOTY nomination.

John Heslin deserved a nomination.

I presume it was between him and Martin in the forwards, they were never going to get 2 given the shitehawkery that goes on with this shit.
