Maybe the fucking fools should stop “peaking” in may so.
Its actually quite easy to play several different peaks. And when do egal were good they had no problem doing it. Its just they are not as good now.

They have to peak in May, the qualifiers is a road filled with peril and you don’t want to be in a do or die clash in June.
As I repeated before - look at how the All Ireland Champs in 08/09/10 were nearly dumped out by mediocre teams on their qualifier path.
The Ulster title also means something to the big teams in Ulster unlike the other provinces.
So you know more than Eamonn McGee?
About preparing teams? Absolutely ya.
Most players haven’t a clue whTs going on. They turn up and do their thing. As it should be.
They always yhen look for excuses when ots not going well.
If ulster teams think its so hard to prepare for 3/4 games but want to compete for AI then they should forget about ulster if its so difficult. If its that hard, which its not, then pick what you want to win.
Ulster is a shit standard now anyway so i don’t know what all the fuss is about.
No you don’t. You think you know but you’re just some arrogant quack who’s doing distance learning in his mid 30s.
A shit standard that consistently fields the highest proportion of All Ireland quarter finalists?
You’re not making any sense.
Incorrect on all counts. But carry on.
What are you? An online crank who never even played the games at adult level. Probably because you are too soft.
Your jealousy and insecurity is going to kill you. Its got a hold of you.
But you’re disagreeing with a guy who has played the game at the highest level for over 12 years and has an All Ireland to his name.
McGee told The Irish News, " think they should take a look at the championship system.
“Ulster teams have to be at full throttle from the start of the season and there is not a chance of a gradual build-up.
“We will be going flat out from the first game and this is just not right.
“Kerry, Dublin or Mayo don’t have to go through the same rigours as the rest of us and certain teams are kept apart.
“So in Ulster we are not on the same level playing field as the rest of the country so it is time something was done about this inequality.
Clearly you know nothing about what you claim to be an expert in.
I don’t have a problem with a bit of inequality in the GAA. There’s inequality at every level - inequality in terms of provincial strength, inequality in county strength, inequality in club strength. Schools and colleges competitions have it too.
How far does this obsession with inequality and fixing it go?
What I do have a problem with is abolishing the provincial finals and the NFL final in favour of a load of dead rubber matches that nobody will want to go to.
Martin played well for one half of a game. a joke.
I would say i know more about preperation ya. He’s a teacher is it?
And if donegal want to win all irelands then maybe they have to ditch Ulster if its taking so much out of them. They don’t even play club games so they should be glad of the competition.
There are ways of peaking and waving your way through the year. Its just there is an attitude in GAA if you are not going hard you are going nowhere.
I think the extra games in ulster are an advantage, and i agree with McGee the competition needs to be evened up.
Why. Give a decent argument.
At the moment those games are fairly irrelivant and only held due to tradition.
There is no logical reason to maintain provincials.
Very few sports in the world have anything more than one competition. And fair enough have a pre season competition for prep. But as it is now its not for prep. Its kinda important, which is bullshit.
He’s not a teacher.
What is he?
A quack
No, it’s not more about prearation. Ulster teams value their provincial title, they also don’t want to be in a knockout game in the first round of the qualifiers against another Ulster team as is the reality of the situation.
Ulster teams have to be peaking for the start of the Championship, it’s just the way it is.
Cue Kev rubbishing whatever profession he is and how it has no correlation with how to prep a team for the Ulster championship and beyond.
I don’t know what he is. He was working over in London on the building sites a few years back though. Probably has some handy number as is the norm for GAA players.
The ones who view ulster as the pinnacle maybe should ya, and thats an understandable approach for say Monaghan or Cavan or Armagh maybe.
However Donegal and Tyrone have designs on All Irelands, so tailor yourself accordingly and stop whinging. Its something Tyrone seem to do regularly.
As it turns out, Rory Gallagher wpuld have been better off losing the first round and getting his squad together and playing more games. Less training more games is what a team like that with a new manager needs. Tyrone did very well out of it.
If you are worried about the qualifiers then maybe you should lower expectations
If Donegal lost their first round game there was a high percentage chance of having Armagh/Derry/Down/Tyrone in the first round of the qualifiers after 6 weeks without a game.
Do you think they would have relished that scenario? Because that was the reality of the situation this year.
