With a second tier championship, you would have l the counties except for Kerry, Cork, Mayo, Monaghan, Tyrone, Donegal.

It’s pointless, the Championship is fine as it is. The problem is the unfair allocation of resources.

It’s getting tired now, pal. Like referring to London when discussing Chelsea or basque clubs when discussing Barcelona. Some teams dominate. No Ulster team would have done that to Kildare, Donegal included.
Game of the year served up in the Leinster Football Championship today. Unlike tired line up of same old faces in the Connacht, Munster and Ulster finals, in the 128th running of the Leinster Championship, a novel and first time final pairing.
Dublin are the only team who could humiliate the lesser teams on a regular basis but there are a pool of 6/7 teams who can give them a run for their money on the day in Championship football.
The likes of Meath, Kildare, Wicklow and Louth should be doing a lot more.
The Leinster counties have really suffered due to this Croke Park / Dublin thing.
Last week we were explaining to a guy from California that Dublin play all their games at home. He was amazed that this would be allowed to happen.
It’s time the other counties in Leinster grow a pair and stand up to the Dublin agenda.
