RTE showing the replay.

I have a feeling Donie won’t hang on there :frowning:

Incidentally while listening to the Second Captains podcast discussing the Munster Final, Michéal Quirke agreed with informed opinion that there wasn’t a snowballs chance in hell that Fionn Fitzgerald was going for a point and that having seen plenty of him in Club and County action he was certain it was a bomb aimed for Donaghy that carried on the wind.

No investigation into the Davy Byrne incident according to The Stor. Eye witness reports say “he got what he had coming to him”.

Imagine if it turned out Ciarán McKeever smacked the head off him. Here, what position does Byrne play and what club does he play for?

Wouldn’t have been McKeever, he’s injured at the min and a doubt for Galway. My bets would be Morgan, Forker or Moriarty.

Listen I was drinking with Crokes lads on Sunday night and they said he was definitely going for it. Having watched it again he was absolutely going for it.

Stop being a fucking moron.

You’re right, I’d have removed that post too.

Good on him if he was kicking for the posts without even looking at the ball, Kerry defenders are better than their forwards

Never heard of him

Brilliant gesture by Sky to move their qualifier games to 3pm and 5pm on Saturday week to facilitate RTE showing the Munster football final replay live at 7pm. True gaels.

Don’t think anyone deserves a smashed eye socket and broken nose mate. I’m led to believe it was caused from a bit of previous from a Sigerson game between Jordanstown and DCU which would point the finger at Stephen Sheridan.

Who was his Solicitor? Hanahoe?

He should be more careful who he picks his quarrels with in future.

My Left Fist.

My post was a jape mate, referencing the reporting style and readers of The Stor. I blame McGeeney for this.

Jim Gavin interview on Off The Ball this evening about the Davey Byrne incident:

So, it would seem that two lads had a fight with one coming off worse.

‘‘Wooly presses Jim Gavin on Davey Byrne Incident’’

He certainly did. Wooly won’t be getting much more out of Armagh or Dublin camps this year. Fair play for asking the hard questions.

Thought Woolie was very good there and put almost all GAA journos to shame with his refusal to take bullshit answers.

Armagh have really laid down a marker in the last year, everyone will know now that they’re a team that won’t be intimidated. Cavan instigated a brawl last year and got their arses handed to them and it looks like little Davey Byrne went looking for bother and got his face rearranged.

I think I’m beginning to come round to liking Woolie/Wooly. He’s actually good on his Thursday evening slot, asks decent questions of James Horan usually as well, so you get a decent analysis, not just banal predictions about a tough game.

The real story here though is how beautiful the soundcloud embeds look on the all-new TFK. The rebranding that just keeps on giving.
