NAP were lucky yesterday end of story.
You are correct to say that it is irrelevent to attach ifs, ands, whys and buts to players who have not stepped up to the mark on any particular day.
If any team left it behind them yesterday, it was Oulart
If you’re going to accuse one of the limerick massive of “below average intelligence” you damn well better have your spelling and grammar ducks in a row or I will smash you.
Where did I cast aspersions on your intelligence or infer to your lack thereof?.
I merely and mildly pointed out the dubious nature of your correction of Bando’s use of “you’re”.
Calm down and desist from making spurious threats.
There should clearly have been at least one, if not two, commas in that abomination of a post. Please improve. We expect higher standards from our brethren.
Midfield really won it for NaP, O’Donoghue has been absolutely outstanding for them for the last run of games now. I’d say he is more in the mould of O’Grady than Mike O’Brien or James Ryan but has a better work-rate - would surely be in line to be called up for intercounty if he’s interested.
The much vaunted forwards huffed and puffed, a few of them chipping in now and then. Breen had a good first half, tucked away the goal nicely but faded after. Downes was completely out of the game for most of normal time, but stood up alright in extra time, should have popped over the weak shot at goal though. I couldn’t for the life of me understand why they played Dempsey at full and Downes in the corner, I think Downes struggles big time if he’s not down the centre. Dowling was named as “one to watch” in some article on the semis before the weekend and I’d say lads are still trying to find him. His free-taking has deteriorated big time over the last year or so and without that he will struggle to hold his place for Limerick.
Hopefully they do the business on March 17th as it would be one hell of a monkey collectively off Limerick backs.
