2015 Club Championships - the lads are STILL at it

His use of ball has been very good the few times I’ve seen him, always gets his head up…very un-Limerick like.

Bad knee injury and never seemed to get back to the same level after getting over it. He’s a sub,

@ChocolateMice and @Watchyourtoes should be embarrassed about those likes they’ve handed out there. I’m embarrassed for them both.

Yup. Very comfortable on the ball and a good striker. Not similar to Ryan/O’Brien at all.

Huh?

As I say, mainly the preserve of a bunch of dozy Limerick posters who view the game through a mixed of biased and child-like eyes. If there’s a close game and some of the lads they’ve consistently been building up and eulogising are fairly crap then it allows them to peddle the “we would have won easily if him, him and him played as well as I think they can” line. They do this in isolation without, as you say, acknowledging their opponent might have something to do with it or indeed realising the opposition could cherry pick a few players of their choice who they’d have liked to play better and score more too.

Good save mate. I’m glad you realised the error of your ways. Its a dreadful post, I’d hate to have you associate yourself with it.

Coming from the most delusional sports poster on the entire forum especially hurling that’s some amount of hypocritical spiel even for you!

Huh?

Should have been on the 21 hurling team but wen travelling for the Summer. Played midfield with 21 footballers.

Na Piarsaigh is made up from the two parishes of Christ The King (Caherdavin) and The Holy Rosary (Ennis Road). The Holy Rosary extends in to Sarsfield Bridge and along Clancy strand, but where the boundry with St. Munchins is on Clancy Strand, I don’t know.

“City Rule” applies in Limerick City. You can play with any club you want when you start out as a kid. The Breens for example lived in Corbally. Lots of lads will play for the fathers old club regardless of where they live. Lynch started out with St. Patricks as a kid despite living a puck of a ball from the Gaelic Grounds.

Would that not make them a Clare club, in reality?

No, but reading the Kilkenny People at the weekend, South Kilkenny are not prepared to yield one little bit to the expanding Waterford City. Anybody know when Limerick City and County grabbed that bit west of the Shannon?

Apart from the bit of South Kilkenny that they already ceded to Waterford?

No it makes them a Limerick club near the Clare border. If it was the case that places on the other side of the border were actually inside the border it would make things very confusing altogether and render borders pretty pointless.

I’ve said it here many times…Limerick historically owned right out to Caherdavin historically and it was Clare who land grabbed before Limerick reclaimed it in the 50s/60s.

He is similiar to them.

All midfielders from Limerick who have big work rate, fitness, intensity, like the tough stuff, leaders. Very similiar actually. He has more hurling than them yes.
