2015 Club Championships - the lads are STILL at it

Castlebar just about deserved that. Wore Crossmaglen down as the game went on and outdid the masters in terms of closing out the game. I expect them to have too much for Ballyboden in the final.

I flagged them at 20/1 for the All-Ireland here before the Mayo final and what a tip that was.

Surprising that didnt get more discussion at the time?

It flew way under the radar.

Lucky no one did contest it, they’d be feeling quite foolish now.

+1

Very lucky nobody said that a team who employed a running game had no chance of winning an All Ireland because they didn’t have the legs.

Whonge whinge whinge.

Excuses excusee

Not an excuse, Castlebar fully deserved their win, unequivocally.

:grinning:

Mayo? Have you followed Gaelic Football for the last 50 years?

No i’m only 38.

I only remember one choke, ever.

I fear tou do not understand choke.

2013 final vs Dublin
The final vs Kerry where they scored about 2-3 in the first half
The final against Meath in the 90’s

If you don’t agree I don’t really care. No interest in engaging in a pointless discussion with you.

So you don’t have a clue.

The Kerry '06 is the only real collapse or choke.

Meath - ffs, they were classic engaging games and thats an unbelievable insult to a good Meath team.

Dublin - much the same. They lost by a point and nearly snatched it.

Dublin had a full back that was concussed and a forward with a torn hamstring for the last 10 minutes of that game when they were in touching distance of them. It was a choke again this year in the replay, what were they up with 15 mins to go? 5 points? They were well on top and had Dublin on the ropes.

You’re talking bollocks again.

Some dozy Clonmel forward didn’t bother tracking back with Darragh Nelson for the Ballyboden equaliser in the last seconds of normal time. Stood there looking at him as he steamed past him to accept the pass before going onto score.

How many steps did he take Bandage? At the time it looked far too many to me.

Ten at least

10/11.

Ballyboden are appealing O’Mahony’s red card.

Wasn’t sure where to put this but i suppose this thread is as good a place as any. St Vincents have acquired three transfers from other counties, all current or former inter-county players with their counties. Enda Varley would be the best of this trio and is a very good addition for them.

NAP have some Leinster Kiwi Rugger types.

Ruairi Óg have Liam Neeson.

1-0 to Cushendall
