Managers should be done on the sideline, their presence is important there. This fella looks like an egomaniac.
By plenty have failed I mean that plenty of managers have won an All Ireland club, it doesn’t mean anything on whether they are good enough to manage at county level. The team he took on had great tradition and history, winning a club AI is not that massive a deal in relative terms.
One of the managers the Mayo players deemed not good enough had Castlebar in a club AI final two years ago.
