Going on the sauce for two days?
Depends on the level of it, but most guys will look after themselves. And if they train tuesday 9/10 days before a game then it should be a huge issue no.
going on the sauce for two days will benefit alright ! you tool. you don’t know the single-mindedness of the modern day athlete.I saw somewhere that Connolly was back togged out for his club on the Thursday after winning all Ireland. the days of celebrating til the cows come home are gone.
Who said anything about that? We are talking about club players here.
You are completely and utterly missing the point.
And for what its worth, i coach and train these modern day elite athletes.
You train dogs.
really?I’d be interested to know In what county do you coach and train these modern day athletes?
Cork, and I have a couple of clients from outside the county as well.
Ok ,ill bite. Which elite athletes do you train in cork ?
Bobbie
Crokes and Ballyboden level 0-4 each at half time.
Plunketts beat Raheny in first game by 0-13 to 1-5. They were much the better team but only pulled clear in last 10. Almost like they knew they would win by 5 so only moved up a gear when it got close.
Was Keezer playing?
Named centre forward anyway.
Boden won by 4 as advised by shrewdies on here. Crokes, despite the massively important feel good factor, burnt out by 7s games and 2 days of celebrating.
Pure shite talk, burnt out from a tournament and drinking that took place about 2 weeks ago?
Ah here.
Here’s Kevs elite athletes on the Late Late
The Ballyboden team listened to Rock N Roll Star on the team bus before the game unleashing a great feel good factor before throw in.
He played Sweeper.
Ballyboden won the second game by 1-11 to 0-10. They scored a penalty with 5 mins left when the teams were level and been point for point up to that. It was a deserved win as they had far more hunger, their tackling was excellent and they looked well trained. Crokes had more big names but didn’t look to have any gameplan and no real leaders.
With Paul Durcan on the bus I wouldn’t doubt it.
Keezer is different class. I’d say he’s the best sweeper in the Championship.
