totally wrong… he plays hurling first and foremost and gave the footballers more of a dig out in semi final…happy enough to get the medal…and he’s actually not the second keeper…the second keeper all year is a young lad who they obviously don’t have much faith in…
maybe they weren’t just good enough?..how many leinster finals did they reach? …one?..in what 6 or 7 attempts?..

yeah that’s true…he would be starting if durcan doesn’t fly back…but he will be back…madness flying him back in my opinion but that’s the way it is…But I don’t think Dooley has any truck with being dropped for durkin as he wasn’t playing all year and literally joined panel for semi final i think is…i think the league keeper is a different lad who apparently isn’t bothered either…
Fair enough. I had heard differently from a Boden lad but prob just gossip. Given Durcan’s kickouts and performance in the county final, I’d have him back like a shot if someone was willing to pay for it. With O’Mahony and McCauley in midfield, it sets a serious platform for them.

have you seen the younger Basquel play?..he looks quality…normally you’d say he’d be a shoe in for the Dubs but these days its just so hard with the amount of talent at their disposal…if you don’t hit the ground running you’re gone… still can’t work out how Darragh Nelson never got more matches for Dubs…

Another trademark Christy O’Connor “getting in behind the story” article. Get some quotes from people who used to be involved but aren’t now. A few factual inaccuracies. It’ll particularly be news to Oulart that they gained revenge for losing the 2014 Wexford quarter final to Glynn-Barntown by beating them with a last minute goal in this year’s quarter final. Glynn-Barntown were beaten in the semi-final by St Martin’s while Oulart cruised through the knock-out stages and comfortably won the final. Usual conclusion that they’re great lads who never give up.

He played with Wexford for years, has been an Oulart senior hurler for over a decade and runs the pub in Oulart. But he was telling the story of a local woman who came into the pub and, strangely enough, didn’t recognise him but proceeded to tell him Cuala would hammer them. So they’re real underdogs on Sunday.

I must have read that article wrong so, I dont see any mention of Oulart scoring a last minute goal to win, more so that Glynn scored a last minute goal last year. I dont like clamping you buddy, so please tell me I have it wrong?
