I mean their builds. Although tv is more decieving than i realised having met a few county players recently. You’d almost go away and buy them a sandwich.
Kyle whats his name no.13, is he on Armagh panel? Was he a star minor or am i thinking of someone else?
It was probably the best club football match anywhere this year and both teams performed tremendously. Superb score taking from both sides, high drama throughout.
Having looked at the game again last night I thought the referee wasn’t nearly as bad as was made out. Some mistakes certainly, but overall he didn’t do too badly and I’d like to retract my call for the Scotstown lads to attack him.
I’d like to know what Darren Hughes was sent off for though. Nothing came up on camera that would have justified a red card. Some individual battle between himself and James Morgan, the best I’ve seen since James O’Donoghue and Keith Higgins marked each other.
Tony Kernan is a lovely player. Pinpoint passer of the ball. The pass he gave to David McKenna for a point in extra-time was the best I’ve seen this year.
Crossmaglen v Castlebar will be a game to savour. The winners will very likely come from that semi-final, both teams look considerably ahead of the three teams on the other side of the draw.
Carragher opted out last year for the county. Would be in his mid 20s now. Had a great year in 2014 for Armagh.
Not really sure who the minor is you refer to. Was it Cross or Armagh you are thinking of? Robbie Tasker was a very classy corner forward for the 2009 winning minor side, he plays for Cullyhana, too small and light to make an impact at senior though I would suspect.
Don’t think Carragher was anything special underage and been a bit of a late developer.
The standard of the provincial club hurling series has been a breath of fresh air. Some of the hurling has been superb and some great games. Way way better than the IC game at the moment.
