2015 Club Championships - the lads are STILL at it

Beyond doubt.

Not even on the same planet as Maurice Fitz. Who i doubt you ever saw play.

Wow, you really are that ignorant.

I agree. Canavan was superior, the game’s greatest player.

Not even top 10

Canavan is up here and everyone else is down below.

I presume you never saw Canavan play.

@Julio_Geordio Who would have seen this going in this manner eh?

I certainly could never have imagined that claiming Maurice Fitz was the greatest of all time would have stimulated debate, mainly because it is beyond doubt.

I think calling what is about to come “debate” is being kind.

It’s beyond doubt that Canavan is the greatest GAA player of all time.

I suppose if you keep repeating yourself that will make it true.

I wouldn’t have Maurice Fitzgerald in the top bracket. Canavan is certainly a greater player than him.

Peter Canavan made it true. Deny the holocaust happened if you want, no skin off my back.

I think it was Shaquille O Neal who once said after seeing Maurice in action in a South Kerry First Round match in Sneem

Take this down. My name is Shaquille O’Neal, and Maurice Fitz is the motherfuckin truth. Quote me on that, and don’t take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn’t know he could play like this. Maurice Fitz is the truth.

Thats good enough for me.

Never heard of him.

You’ve gone down four notches in my estimation pal. I’d imagine both you and Nembo don’t really remember Fitz before 1997 and are judging him on after when that luddite O’Sé didn’t know what to do with him.

He’s one of the O’Neals from South Kerry

I’m going to have to pull you up there, he’s actually from Greencastle, which makes the admission even more powerful. Shaq knows a baller when he sees one.
