I’d expect an “athlete mentor” to be someone like Sonia O’Sullivan, Katie Taylor etc who has achieved something on a European or world stage - not a slightly above average Kerry footballer with a Twitter addiction who couldn’t even make the team this year.

And making a big deal of packing in his job, saying in an interview with the Cork Examiner that he’d have to be “cute with money” now as a result before back-tracking and saying he won’t be a full time footballer after all. :rolleyes:

I fully stand over the nomination.
