A few handy quid Iâd say, thatâs what it is.
The Roryâs Stories fella.
Why does this annoy ye? Bizarre.
Iâd expect an âathlete mentorâ to be someone like Sonia OâSullivan, Katie Taylor etc who has achieved something on a European or world stage - not a slightly above average Kerry footballer with a Twitter addiction who couldnât even make the team this year.
And making a big deal of packing in his job, saying in an interview with the Cork Examiner that heâd have to be âcute with moneyâ now as a result before back-tracking and saying he wonât be a full time footballer after all. :rolleyes:
I fully stand over the nomination.
Wasnât that clown in DIT for a stint? The poor chap is fairly unfortunate looking at the same time

I donât get why this annoys you though. Heâs trying to do the best for himself. Heâs hardly at Conor McGregor levels of self promotion.
+1 a very very unfunny cunt
He invented a job title for himself. Via Twitter. Grade A Cunt.
:rolleyes:
@dodgy-keeper
Isnât it one of these Sky Sports ambassador type gigs where you get a cheque for âŹ200 for taking a youth club or school for a coaching session once or twice per month? I havenât read the newspapers quotes but is he saying itâs an actual career/full time job?

Jennifer Kelly[/QUOTE]
I used to have the misfortune of having to listen to his show in work on occasions. I always thought to myself that there was a lot of flirting going on between D Arcy and the Farrell. Then suddenly she moves from the show without any goodbyes or ceremony, shortly followed by D Arcy himself who is now joined by his âproducerâ wife who left Today FM to spend more time looking after their two kids(You may not know that they have Two children as itâs never mentioned)
All of the above coupled with Farrell and Kelly unfollowing each other on Twitter makes me think all was not well

That is outstanding stuff, the twitter thing really adds a bit of gravitas to it
