Jesus wouldn’t agree with that at all. Depay, Darmian and Schweinsteiger are excellent signings and all for around the same money as they paid for Di Maria. If they add a centre half and a striker and Di Maria comes good (big if) then they will have a serious team next season.
I’m a huge fan of Wijnaldum, really surprised his agent couldn’t secure a better deal for him. He should tear it up in the EPL, very good technically and extremely robust. Very similar player to a younger Seedorf.
Would have seemed a good fit for Milan or someone having missed out on Kondogbia.
