Utd spent £240m last year on transfers - that is surely near €300m?? And that was one year - you’re saying Liverpool spent it in 3 years.

A lot of people say that but I’m not sure how true that is. If you waste money you waste money. Just because you received money for other players doesn’t justify it.
Merely pointing out that in todays market where some teams are spending over £300m in one year then Liverpool spending it in 3 years is hardly a big deal. They may not compete with the top tier for spending/income but they are still in the top 10 of the world’s richest clubs. So what’s your point?
United spent 180 million pounds in 2014 on transfers from the figures I saw.

I was quite shocked when I saw the number so I was just pointing it out. When you look at Liverpools squad and see that 300 million has been spent on it over the past 3 years is incredible. .
Liverpools return to the top ten richest clubs in the world was short lived that is for sure.
What? Liverpool were ranked 8th in this years list of top 10 richest clubs in the world, mate… You’d want to watch yourself, this is primarily a Liverpool FC forum.

Yes off the back of Champions League football purely. They’ll be out of that top 10 again this year. I’m not sure why that would upset many Liverpool fans.
