hmmmm Raonic was in a bit of trouble in his match the other day and needed treatment. I seen the Lopez/Fish match and he was saved by Fishes lack of practice, other than that Fish would have won.
Also the fact that they are on the big courts where the tempeture is not as bad as the outside courts. The Knota/Murgarzza match may as well have been played in a sauna.
Raonic returning from surgery of his foot so lacking match fitness. But think itās more in his head. Lopez was almost beaten by Fish on one leg. Still think itās worth a few bob.
Got mugged by Moggy. Thought sheād be too powerful for the Brit. Konta on some roll at moment.
Epic match between Nadal and Fognini. Nadal was two sets up but Fognini pegged him back to force a 5th. Fognini a break up in the 5th at 4-3 and 40-0 up on serve but shat himself and Nadal broke back for 4-4. Fognini then goes and breaks Nadal to love for a 5-4 lead and is now serving for the match.
Fognini completes to comeback to beat Nadal 3-6 4-6 6-4 6-3 6-4
First time in his career Nadal loses from two set up. He was 151-0 from two sets up coming into this match.

Nadalās defeat to Fognini was only the 2nd time in his career that he has lost from 2 sets up. Only other v Federer in Miami 2005 #USOpen
Whereās the stroke chin smiley when you need it?
Think thats 3 wins for Fognini over Nadal this year. Am shocked nadal lost from 2 sets up.
Yeah and he ran him close in Hamburg as well in their other meeting this year. Nadal is finished.
The problem Nadal has is that he cant change his game. He needs to play a style of tennis that is not as hard on his body as what he has been playing but I donāt think he can change. Federer is the master of it with the way he has adapted his game over the last year or so. Nadal may win another French open but I cant see him winning any of the other grand slam events.
On the US Open it should be an interesting week in the mens, its big boy tennis now that all the weak ones have been weeded out. Wawrinka against Young today should be interesting, Young is on a bit of a roll here and did well to come back and win in the last round. I would still expect Wawrinka to win. Federer vs Isner is the late match, Federer should see Isner off but it will be close especially if Isner is serving well. Have you seen where Federer is on the court taking the second serve, he is practically on the service line. He is unreal.
Murray plays Anderson, I would expect Murray to win that slug fest. The Berdych/Gasquet match is probably the match of the day. I wouldnāt be too surprised to see Gasquet win that one.
Pity about Bouchard having to pull out with concussion after slipping in the changing rooms. She stood a good chance of making the semiās. Out of the womens matches to day the Lisicki/Halep match is probably the best of them but the Brits will be focusing on Konta against Kvitova, I would expect Kvitova to win that.
Dunblaneās finest in a spot of bother.
Anderson is playing out of his skin. Not much in that first set. Murray should have broke Anderson in the 4th game of the first set, went on for about 10 minutes. Donāt think Anderson is as fit as Murray though, I would expect to start fading soon and murray to take over.
Anderson tired noticeably after going two sets up on Djokovic at Wimbledon. He needs to keep rattling through his service games quickly.
His 1st serve is gone to pot though.
Murray 11/10 now.
Thatās a tempting price.
2 broken games to open the third set. Enthralling stuff.
Murray loses 3-1 to the towering Saffa mutant.
Murray losing to Anderson is a surprise. Anderson usually fades in the third set, he was playing unreal tennis during the game against Murray. The 2 tough games Murray had last week one 4 set and 5 set match I reckon took its toll, especially in the heat. Murray also hates that Grandstand court because he cant further back from the line.
Is Murray finished? Only one final appearance in his last 9 slams.
I dont think he is finished he has one more slam in him if things go in his favour like no Djokovic, Federer, Wawrinka left in the draw. Another thing in his favour is that there doesnāt seem to be a group of young players coming through at the moment to challenge the top 4. Kyrgios hasnāt followed up on his potential yet that he showed last season, Raonic has slipped down this year mainly due to injury but even still he is not getting close to beating the top guys. Outside of them there is no one really coming up to challenge them. If you look at Djokovic, Federer and Nadal they were all competitive in Slams from 18 or 19. Federer beating Sampras at Wimbledon, Djokovic winning his first US Open at 21 and Nadal the freak winning his first french open at 18. The guys coming up are not doing that at the moment.
The problem for Murray is he is too defensive on the court, he needs to step up more into the court and hit winners from there and not try hit winners standing next to the line judge at the back of the court. He has regressed a bit since Lendl left him. Lendl had him standing further up the court and he won 2 majors. Also is second serve is diabolical, players just murder him on it. He badly needs get a proper second serve rather than popping the ball in at 75 - 80 mph.
Like Nadal, he now needs to change his game so start winning points quicker rather than these 20 or 30 shot marathon rallies. He is 28 now and he cant keep playing marathon rallies.
