A disappointing day out from a Limerick point of view, but the minors did give it pretty much everything they had and certainly didnāt embarrass themselves.
The senior was a very enjoyable game- Callanan was fucking unreal. Maybe the marking was a bit loose but he made his own luck, he worked hard, he used his strength & touch and fought for everything. Some unbelievable shooting. Tipp by far the better teamā¦ when Kilkenny started to falter, Cody looked at the bench and he had no one. I think we all knew the panel wasnāt what it was and the losses of Aylward & Fennelly were felt hugely today, nobody on the bench was going to change that game. I donāt know if Tipp had real gamechangers on the bench either but Forde made a good impact when he came on and Tipp did seem to have a bit of extra hunger that theyāve often lacked. They fought like Trojans in defence and they have real firepower in attack.

Heād at least two games where he didnāt score from play
He was very poor against Waterford the first day and average yesterday.
Heās popped up back in his own half back line a few times in various games this year and has looked a complete fish out of water.
