2016 All Ireland Hurling Semi Final - Galway v Tipperary - Game, Set & Match to Tipp

Bad record in All Ireland finals when he wasn’t facing Antrim.

The lad running after Ryan celebrating with the cap and the fag in his mouth stumbling over  Great times we will never have atmosphere like that again with the straight knock out gone.

Fuck off with weak wumming. Sure very few players would have reputations of note if their hurling careers were judged solely on AI Final performances.

You are better than that shit.

Galway won’t be blown away by anyone, in my honest opinion, but I have an uneasy feeling about this I must say.

it will go two ways ye win or get blown away

Maybe Joe. I think this Galway side is strong, tough, Big, determined, physical and happy.
They will be hard beaten. Johnny glynn is a big loss, but Jason flynn will come right, he’s too good not to.
Against that, Tipp have the potential to be one of the best sides ever to.play the game.
I think on balance Tipp may win or actually, I don’t know what to think but have a bad feeling, but Galway won’t lie down hence won’t be blown away.

Not too many so called Tipperary star forwards of the modern era anyway that’s for sure. Nicky went missing in the 1988 final, John Leahy in 1997 and Eoin Kelly in 2009 butchered the match winning goal chances when they presented themselves. There’s three more you could have had onto your haul of 5 in the last 50 years if your star forward had delivered on the biggest stage of all.

Where are you from?

Today is Yorkshire day.

Exactly how I feel. Don’t think Galway will be blown away but not confident about winning the match. Worried that Breen and McCormack might dominate around the middle, Bubbles will have a point to prove, Callanan is due a big game and the general motivation Tipp will have after last year will likely get them over the line.

No so called about it jeff they were star forwards, no amount of googling will change that.

Big men galway are and ye can boss the game but ye cant be slacking like ye did at times in the clare game. @ChocolateMice @flattythehurdler

Who was slagging you,Joe?

Do you read many of his posts?

Nicky was still sore in 1989 for what three time All Ireland winner Sylvie said to him at the end of the 1988 final. As good a put-down as you’ll ever hear.

I thought Leahy’s put down of Lynskey was far better tbh.
