Good stuff Flatty. I had my nipper at the Galway Tipp game last year. Fantastic memories.

Striking is extremely poor for an inter-county hurler, pity because he has everything else.

I’d live with it pal. His attitude is streets ahead of the pack - not sure if it’s the army training or what. He must be an absolute nightmare to mark.

It’s an interesting one. We could do with a James Barry to shore up full back, Barrett is the second best corner back in the country after Paul Murphy and we need a shut down one, Brendan maher on form could fill a hole in midfield for us, imagine callanan inside with canning or David Burke feeding him ball. Bonnar is one of tipps most important players, and I couldn’t rate him higher, but we have a few mullockers that can kinda do his ball winning even if not ball carrying role for us, especially the one in New York. I’d probably take callanan just for the goal threat.

Clare could do with a Michael Breen/Fennelly type player in the middle of the field. Someone in that Fennelly mould is a huge asset for any hurling team. Rangy, hard, boundless energy, and well able to hurl. We thought we had a player like that in Shane Golden but he has gone backwards since joining the senior setup.

What Limerick hurler would you transfer?

Ya think!! Fennelly was the deciding factor in winning last years final and the 2011 final. Breen is the new Fennelly, David Burke won’t have the freedom of the park like he did last year and that will be the biggest factor. Winter is coming.

Meh.

In fairness. the optimism in Tipp is based firmly on an extremely mean looking defense this year. Now, Galway will represent a far greater challenge for sure. But to say people are cock sure within the County is a tad excessive.

That’s a very good question. Byrnes looks a great Hurler over the next few years.

Middle tier is premium isn’t it and are never available online. Lower gives a cracking view. Try and get something with a high letter though in case of rain

It’s gas hearing the chips build up Michael Breen as the new Michael Fennelly. One swallow does not a summer make. Have they forgotten Noel Morris who was equally heralded after his debut summer in Munster? Not to mention Tony Scroope, Butler from Callinans club, the list goes on.
Let him have at least two good full seasons before coronation. The reality is the Tipp lads never learn.

This fella should just change his name to Special_Simpleton.

Pity Seamus Butler didn’t make it was a dinger of a club hurler, scored 0-06 from play in the 2008 League Final. Clinton Henessey flattened him before the AI Semi-Final and he didn’t want to know after that.

He played well in the trilogy against Limerick from what I remember.

Scroope was a decent hurler. I had completely forgotten about Noel Morris.

A beaten docket will highlight the questionable part of a post ie Tony Scroope, in the hope the rest of it gets discredited.
No evidence needed for the point I was trying to make anyway which is Tipperary people lose the run of themselves fairly easily.
