Theres no good answer now. He’s mentally shattered regardless, they should have taken him off after 4. Tipp arent a county for easing up. These boys will get another 3 yet.
It’s hard to know whether taking him off at this stage would even help, the mental damage has been well done.

Still, a Galway goalie let in 8 in an All Ireland Minor final back in the 70’s, so there’s always that.
