I get the emails alright but have never read the books. He crops up regularly enough on the Tim Ferriss podcasts and it was interesting listening. A lot more relevant if you are running your own business I’d imagine.

Joyce was a player that Cody never really seemed to have a lot of faith in. His break came in the 2014 final replay when he came in for Brian Hogan. He was 27 at that stage, 29 now. He’s strong under the high ball but is not very mobile. Austin Gleeson destroyed him yesterday and dragged him all over the field.

Joyce started both finals in 2012.

I know that but that’s not what was been discussed. The point I was making is Joyce is a player that Cody has never entirely seemed to trust.

Larkin to start in replay I’d say

Larkin did better than he has in a while coming off the bench yesterday. Not convinced at this late stage in his career, he could exercise such an influence from the start.

Cody’s tried and tested replay formula has been to drop 3-4 non-performers from the drawn game. Shane Prendergast, Kieran Joyce, John Power and Jonjo Farrell look most at risk.

Just looking at the subs bench from yesterday, options are - Richie Reid, Jackie Tyrrell, Robert Lennon, Conor O’Shea, Lester Ryan, Eoin Larkin, Conor Martin, Kevin Kelly, Mark Bergin, Liam Blanchfield and Michael Malone.

Someone who can run with Gleeson or someone who can play somewhere else and let someone else take up Gleeson. Walsh could possibly move.
Fennelly on Gleeson could be a consideration.
Tyrell could play as a dropping no.6 and let someone else take Gleeson

Its not an easy answer.
