2016 All Ireland Hurling Semi Final - Waterford v Kilkenny - in the melting pot

Itā€™s harder to see Waterford shooting the lights out again like they did for the first 60 minutes yesterday.

You a Seth Godin fan i see?

Not sureā€¦ he has a few golden nuggets but a lot of waffle too. You?

Have been getting his daily emails for bout 6-7 years, resd 3 of his books too. A genius and modern philosopher.

I get the emails alright but have never read the books. He crops up regularly enough on the Tim Ferriss podcasts and it was interesting listening. A lot more relevant if you are running your own business Iā€™d imagine.

I know that but thatā€™s not what was been discussed. The point I was making is Joyce is a player that Cody has never entirely seemed to trust.

Ferriss is a grade A bullshitter.

Not at all. Thereā€™s some real quality in that Waterford forward line and they were finally allowed to express themselves and show it yesterday.

+1 and an egomaniac tooā€¦ but some of his guests can be interesting.

Edit: if you want 100% AAA bullshit though - Dave Aspery (Bulletproof Exec)

Oh heā€™s a ticket. What i do admire is these lads balls. Bengal Tigers wouldnā€™t come near it.

Larkin did better than he has in a while coming off the bench yesterday. Not convinced at this late stage in his career, he could exercise such an influence from the start.

Codyā€™s tried and tested replay formula has been to drop 3-4 non-performers from the drawn game. Shane Prendergast, Kieran Joyce, John Power and Jonjo Farrell look most at risk.

Just looking at the subs bench from yesterday, options are - Richie Reid, Jackie Tyrrell, Robert Lennon, Conor Oā€™Shea, Lester Ryan, Eoin Larkin, Conor Martin, Kevin Kelly, Mark Bergin, Liam Blanchfield and Michael Malone.

And the referees and Croke Park lad. Donā€™t forget how scared they are of us too.

That and wide balls.

Someone who can run with Gleeson or someone who can play somewhere else and let someone else take up Gleeson. Walsh could possibly move.
Fennelly on Gleeson could be a consideration.
Tyrell could play as a dropping no.6 and let someone else take Gleeson

Its not an easy answer.

The easy answer is Joyce will start again.

He may well. I said Cody would have to consider it.

But one of the reasons the man is a great is because he makes tough calls. And its whoever makes the best adjustments wins

Heā€™ll make a few changes alright.

Joyce was okay I thought, a bit overrun at times but not his fault.

Farrell, Power & Prendergast the likely lads for the chop IMO.
