@Bandage @Mac @Gman etc
There will have to be a meeting of the Limerick & Wexford Chapters before the hurling. We’ll take ye out for some nice chips and ye can bring some strawberries for dessert.

@Nembo_Kid I presume McKeever is suspended?

Reasonable looking Monaghan team named. Defence looks like what will start in the summer. Kieran Hughes the big absentee further forward. Don’t know why Jack McCarron isn’t named. Another injury possibly.

That Kerry team is relatively strong given its a first round of the league. Interesting to see 2 Valentia Island men in the subs.

Very weak looking Down side that will host Donegal.

Don’t know an awful lot about some of those players to be honest, McCorry brought an awful lot of new faces in last year but Burns seems he might have brought in just as many.

Poland and McKernan the only surviving players there from the 2010 All Ireland final.

Is McGuinness injured again?

I hadn’t heard about an injury bit that seems to be the word. He’s fairly bulked up the last 18 months, hopefully he’ll have an injury free summer.

Was sceptical enough earlier in the week, given smaller counties tendency to go hell for leather after getting promoted. But looking at the 2 teams, we should win by 2 or 3.

Davy Byrne starts cashing in his chips from 2015.

Has the Donegal team for tonight been selected?

I’m very interested too see how Donegal go this year.

Can we now refer to them as Donegal 2.0?

I’m going for the following. Won’t be putting my money where my mouth is until i have seen the teams play, so next week.

Plenty strong teams picked as it becomes more and more onvious teams love the league and see it as important. Recent reporting suggests there is a swell of support for change from alot of forces, hopefully that continues. Div 1& 2

Down - DONEGAL
DUBLIN - Kerry
Cork - Mayo (Draw)
ROSSCOMMON - Monaghan

Laois - GALWAY
TYRONE - Cavan
MEATH - Armagh
DERRY - Fermanagh

I’ll be watching Down v Donegal, guys.
