Roscommon are a joy to watch though, fantastic to see a cracked shower of bastards like them coming through. Missing both midfielders today as well. This run in Div 1 will stand to them come Championship, maybe not this year, but they’re mixing it with the big boys and aren’t cowed by it. Thank fuck for a bit of excitement.

Making the last 8 would not be much of an achievement in that grand scheme of things.
Wins over Leitrim, Sligo and New York guarantees them a last 12 position, they only need one win from there to make the last 8.
Thousands of the fuckers down in Kerry a few weeks back, put on the pitch having the crack after the game, same in Letterkenny today. Shur fuck it, it’s great to see. The Rossies are a great sort mate. They don’t give a fuck what anyone thinks of them. They and Tipp have been the best things to happen to Gaelic football in decades, maybe since the boozed up Laois Minors of the 90s I’d say.

They’ve done fuck all yet and have everything to prove. Monaghan have done much more and did it all out of the blue, with none of that fanfare going into it.
Until they prove themselves at Championship level, then they should be viewed with cynicism and the same applies to Tipperary and Cavan.
Cavan and Roscommon have gone balls out on the league in recent years and done nothing of note in the Championship, both seem to improve each year on their league form but flopped come Championship.
