I see there are counties now implementing this pre match handshake in County finals.

Fml.

This is a sad development.

Don’t worry it will all end after a free for all when some psyched up numpty loses the head.

Derry football or laois hurling are my picks for it to happen first

Name and shame please.

Just saw it on tg4 earlier. Turned over so didn’t catch what match it was. Outrageous.

Dublin senior football championship resumes this weekend. Some absolutely cracking games in store in Parnell - Crokes v Boden on Saturday and then Brigids v Ballymun and Vincents v Na Fianna on Sunday.

They’ll hardly be finished in time for the Leinster club?

Actually I see the dubs conveniently have a bye through the first round. They should get their so

Killyclogher and Coalisland on TG4 next Sunday.

A chance to catch the irrepressible Tiernan McCann in action.

I’ll tidy this up for @Spidey

Straight knock out?

Yep. Don’t be minding those club players getting in the way of the juggernaut.

Crokes up by a point v Boden at half time thanks to a lucky/class goal by Mannion when he chipped keeper on a breaking ball. Even enough. Vaughan has kicked some lovely frees as well as the usual unsuccessful Hail Marys. Colm Basquel prob best for Boden and has put on some serious heft. Crokes stats man miked up to the max in the stand.

Live radio commentary here:

1-5 to 0-6 for Crokes early in the second half.

St Judes earlier dismantled Clontarf 1-15 to 1-03.

Crokes 1-10 Boden 0-9

Crokes with the last four points and Vaughan nailing his dead balls.

17 minutes gone second half.

Any former inter county goalkeepers flown in for that one?

The biggest football clash in the country, says Oisin.

Durcan is playing alright. Cian O’Sullivan not playing. Not doing them any harm.

Vaughan from a free again. 1-11 to 0-9. 11 minutes left.
