Serious hunger by Crokes in the second half and they won easily in the end. However Boden were nowhere near concert pitch and ref gave Crokes an awful lot no doubt influenced by MDMA’s fuckacting. He really should have saw the line but gotta cut him some leeway given the week that’s in it. Boden denied a stonewall penalty when Ross O’Carroll handled on the line after Crokes keeper went walkabout.
Cillian O’Shea in corner back was great for Crokes. Snuffed out Basquel in second half and got forward for few scores. Mannion is the main man up front and will take watching. However when I see Vaughan, Darren Magee (!) and Pat Burke lording it in the last few minutes it leads me to Boden being ragged and stale rather than Crokes being superb. Still a great win for them and long time coming v Boden.
