Jack Guiney single handedly destroyed the Harriers for Rathnure at the weekend. He sprinted passed a defender and won a 50/50 ball at 1 stage so I had to watch it a few times to be sure it was definitely him.
Presume he wanted to make the Rathnure training sessions in the lead up to their first championship match. Handy for him to have the option of training with Jude’s intermittently during winter/spring being Dublin based thanks to the Mossy Waters link.

his Rathnure team mates? Fuck sake glas, you really went off on this for an exclusive that never was. There are lots of Wexford players who would train with a club in Dublin but still play for the club at home.
Meh. The Judes lads thought he was transferring and they picked up a kk, Galway, and tipp player this year so why not Guiney. Changed his mind again it seems. Win some lose some.
No fianna are a good price at 9/4 to beat lucan this evening. They have started the year well and some very good young players are after coming through. They have won 3 out of the last 4 minor championships in dublin while lucan have regressed at senior level. Won’t be much in it and na fianna price is too generous to ignore. The draw at 10/1 is also worth having a nibble at as a saver. Vincent’s could also cause an upset against kilmacud at 2/1 but na fianna are the punt of the round. No betting value in any of the other games.
are you going to name the lads they “picked” up?

In your rush to find a scoop, you really didnt. Guiney was never joining Judes.
Does Pillar still have the ban in place about lads playing dual? Would affect guys like McHugh, Brady and Cooper. They would be big losses if not playing tonight.
This is the INTERNET, pal. You can’t simply post a glib “meh” and more or less claim you were right even though you were wrong. I know Jude’s lads who never thought he was joining them. It’s convenient for you to imply that circumstances have somehow changed and/or he went back on his word when he did nothing of the sort. Please desist. You’re a thundering disgrace and I’d be genuinely seething about this if I actually cared who he plays club hurling with.

Yeah the ban is still there. Neither mchugh or Brady have hurled for the last few years. Cooper hurled his first year out of minor but then gave it up so wouldn’t really be a loss anyway. Few fine hurlers coming through and the dual thing doesnt affect most of them as they be hurling mainly.
