USC v Alabama (Arlington, TX) and Notre Dame @ Texas are two standout games from the opening weekend. Notre Dame have announced that both Deshone Kizer and Malik Zaire will play QB against Texas. This approach generally doesn’t end well so that will be worth keeping on eye on.

Tennessee will win the SEC.

Is the first match in Sydney this year? Deshaun Watson will make hay this year.

Just saw that, Hawaii v Cal tomorrow week.

Of course there is also Georgia Tech v Boston College from Dublin, IRELAND on Saturday Sept 3rd.

The biggest sporting event to be held in Dublin this weekend. Got my tickets and popped into the fan zone in Trinity college earlier for a little taster of what should be a tremendous weekend.

I don’t think either team has much support in Atlanta and Boston respectively. Mostly current students and alumni.

Was always going to be a tough one to sell out.
