Whatever became of Michael Lynskey? cc @KinvarasPassion, @Ambrose_McNulty and @anon7035031
He was Ardrahan from what I remember. Fond of a sup too.

I will be in attendance on Sunday with a lad who scored 1-2 in this game
Who that?
One of Ballinderreens finest
Abai Seanie bai. Scutty goal mind you.
Certainly was, Iâll be sure to remind him Sunday for you! He should have got MOTM that day but I think they gave it to Paul Flynn
Did OâDonovan not got it that day?
Nearly certain it was Flynn, it wasnât SeanĂn anyway
He was immense that day.
I know one of the others who was a bit surprised at his performance that day. Didnât rate him even though he was captain and centre back.
Iâve given away all of my central Hogan Stand Lower tickets and will sit in the Hogan Stand Upper myself. A series of mighty sound gestures on my behalf.
My Galway friends havenât a ticket between them. They have been to all* the matches.
Doesnât include Offaly match.
Not many of that minor team came through as seniors plus a number of them played the following year. A number of that Waterford team won a Munster u21 in 94 beating a Clare team with a good few from the 95-02 era playing and went onto play Senior with Waterford.
Flynn was a phenomenon at that age though. It was as close to a one man team as youâd ever see.
Was it the munster final below in PUC that he scored about 3-5 and secured a draw by himself. I was in the Blackrock end that day where Iâm pretty sure he scored the last gasp goal into, remember thinking he could have been the best minor Iâd seen, still one of my favourite ever hurlers.
What a hurler he was at underage. Heâs heavily involved with Ardrahan at under age these days. He had his own pretty successful business at quite a young age and I suspect that took priority over the hurling.
He was a late inclusion on the starting 15 that day in 92 when Michael Donohueâs younger brother had to cry off with appendicitis
Thatâs a selfless act. Hate having to sit anywhere other than the Lower Hogan. Everyone sorted out my end now as well. Tickets were a bit slow coming in first but an avalanche of them today.
