Again Id ask if anybody has two spare tickets I’d greatly appreciate them.
There was some crowd in early that day considering Lk and Cork were in the senior .
I’ll do my best, pal.
If you have the balls to open your mouth outside one of the many bar’s on the Drumcondra Road as I have already explained to you you will easily pick up a couple of tickets.
ITS for a pal who’s flying in the for the game. I’d like put his mind at ease.
Tell him you have 2 tickets for him and not to be worrying about small things.
Tommy Dunne played for Tipp that day from what I can remember, Tipp were favourites for the AI that year thought they only had to show up and beat Waterford but they couldn’t beat Paul Flynn
Ah now I see your urgency to quell your mates ticket anxiety. There’s nothing more I can say about it only that I hope you/he get sorted.
Might have been Terry Dunne.
Tommy Dunne was on the Tipperary U21 winning team in 1995. I can recall him playing in minor Final of 1991 as well. Unless injured he surely featured in 1992 Munster Minor Final.
It’s 25 years ago now and Tommy was minor that year and from what I can remember was he was playing that day
Watch the video and himself and Flynn are instantly recognisable by their striking .
Yeah I think Tommy was at 11 that day
I assumed Tommy was no 11. His free taking, gait and striking would point be in that direction.
Brian Flannery half back for Tipp there also.
Was on city end terrace, scorcher of a day. The senior was the game where Thomas Mul lost the Hurley and ran about 15 steps before scoring.
The replay was the following Friday night. 1st time I’d ever seen Waterford win anything. Christ we celebrated like it was a senior All Ireland.
Remember it well. Thought that this Flynn lad was a bit special. Tomas Mul is a prick.
Scorcher of a day it was.
No major stirs coming out of either county in the way of insane supporter carry on, nothing to match this from 2012 anyway
Woof
The build up seems low key . If so , would be counties experience of AI finals in the past decade be a factor?
