It was a great aul time with the u21âs too - I watched the U21 replay on YouTube last night, some crowd at it
Sweltering even
Twas a long drive home.
Was the U-21 final played on the Wednesday before the Minor replay? If so Iâll have to revise my chronology as this would have been the 1st time Iâd seen Waterford win anything (Minniesâs wasnât open that night though so we didnât celebrate it like a Senior win). Heady days 2 Munster titles in 3 days!
It was, a few people fainted near us on the city end terrace. Mulcahy got his goal down the other but even we could see that it was a foul.
Happened straight across from me. I was in the open stand on the 21. Donât know how many technical fouls he committed.
He is still laughing about it. Way way worse than Nicky laughing at Clare.
Mike Reale scored a goal with a couple to go but it was too late. Crammed like a sardine in the corner at the lower end near eye level at the City End End terrace I could see little of the game. It was another year of heartache.
Will ye ever fuck off to the Limerick thread. This is senior hurling.
@Julio_Geordio will be having a âjoe Canning to outscore waterfordâ type bet this time around?
The shit was hurled out of Limerick that day fs . That was not a hard luck story .
I support Limerick mate not Cork. Yes we were well beat with some help from Willie Barret. Losing a MF in any fashion is hard luck in my book. You might bend the knee to your perceived betters but I donât and never will.
I thought you were from Armagh, mate?
I donât live there anymore.
I donât believe a future for Limerick hurling should be based on ochons and grievances . We were well bate that day .
Were you one of those earnest Ulster Gaels that travel down to Munster hurling finals back in 1992?
I 100% agree with you.
No. I was reared in Limerick City.
I was hoping you were going to say you were from Armagh but on the run and living in Shannon, Co. Limerick.
No paramilitary tales from me mate. Just regular people.
