Was the U-21 final played on the Wednesday before the Minor replay? If so Iâll have to revise my chronology as this would have been the 1st time Iâd seen Waterford win anything (Minniesâs wasnât open that night though so we didnât celebrate it like a Senior win). Heady days 2 Munster titles in 3 days!

Mike Reale scored a goal with a couple to go but it was too late. Crammed like a sardine in the corner at the lower end near eye level at the City End End terrace I could see little of the game. It was another year of heartache.

The shit was hurled out of Limerick that day fs . That was not a hard luck story .
I support Limerick mate not Cork. Yes we were well beat with some help from Willie Barret. Losing a MF in any fashion is hard luck in my book. You might bend the knee to your perceived betters but I donât and never will.
