My Pre Match Tension poops started a week ago. Consistency suggests a tight oneā¦ the match that is.
Iād give that an informative rating, but the site Iād fucked.
Was an off the ball panel on last night. I heard the first 20 minutes of it. Ken McGrath/daithi regan/ tommy walsh and a few more.
Tommy Walsh was very very very good. Talking about how they approached the buikd up to finals
Iām giddy as fuck. Roaring and throwing stuff at lads in the office. Mostly Tipp lads so it makes no difference.
Waterford and their system is very ovverated. An awful cork team were a point ahead of them with 15 mins to go and only for the sending off theyād have gone close to beating them. They beat an awful Wexford team and made extremely heavy weather of it. Kk are completely finished and drew with them. After the first cork game people were saying McGrath and his system was busted now heās some sort of tactical genius. Iām not buying it.
This true glas, youāve been championing Galway longer than anyone. I am unchanged in my view that Galway will win.
It will take a good team, playing very well to stay with them.
That being said, I am getting highly anxious as the day approaches.
We had a lovely visit (unannounced) to the Hanburys this week.
Mrs Hanburys buns were a delight as always. She looked genuinely pleased to see us, and gave both the kids a big hug.
Maisie, I fear, is more interested in their dog than the aif at present.
Agree. Tommy was a no nonsense hurler and is a no nonsense pundit.
Waterford are in for an ass whooping Sunday
He is brilliant
I predict a tight, low scoring and touch anti climactic first 50 minutes. Waterford will then bring on Maurice and a couple of them speedy lads while releasing Barron to join them running at the Galway defence. This will create enough scores to just about get them over the line.
God Iād nearly forgotten about that one.
Galway by 10 points
I just read it online there. He wrote an awful lot of bollocks imo.
The pick of the ābollocksologyā was undoubtedly his point that both teams have been close to the promised land on many occasions.
When in the name of our good Lord have Waterford been anyway close to winning an All Ireland ?
Any other times mate*
*you could argue that with so few counties competing in the hurling championship that they are all fairly close to the promised land (thatās possibly what he meant actually)
Listening to it now, itās very good
For about 5 mins in 2008 they were close to the promised land and then for the next 65 mins the bus went into reverse and stayed that way and they were as far away from it as they had ever been by the time the ref blew the final whistle.
Iāve a real happy and tingly feeling after reading about @flattythehurdler 's visit to the Hanbury family and the warm reception he was afforded.
You can be a right prick at timesā¦ do you know that?
