Are Down rising though?
Alot to suggest it was just two average performances making a good game of it.

Have they?
Thomas Mallon
Gareth McKinless
Dermy McBride
Oisin Duffy
Kevin Johnston
Sean Leo McGoldrick
Liam McGoldrick
Niall Holly
Emmett Bradley
Christopher Bradley
Eoghan Brown
Terenece OāBrien
Ciaran Mullan
Cailean OāBoyle
All played championship in the past two years and have not made themselves available this year, Iām not even including the likes of Eoin Bradley, Patsy Bradley, Gerard OāKane and Fergal Doherty who retired recently.
Derry have no midfielders in their squad. Holly and Emmet Bradley did not commit this year, Fergal Doherty and Patsy Bradley have called time on their careers and Paudie Cassidy went out to America after the league.
7 of those would start for me in a full strength Derry side:
Holly
E Bradley
McKinless
SL McGoldrick
Kevin Johnston
Mallon
McBride
Thatās half a team.
You are not getting this are you. Some of those are playing a different sport ffs.
If they were not being pucked then you can lay that at managements door. But thats not the issue so its a non issue.
Using retiredayers to pad out your argument only weakens it.
Cork lost Paddy Kelly because of the set up, the gym situation and a lack of confidence in management etc. Thats tough shot. You have to create an environment to have your best players.
Everything else is just excuses.
You continue to make excuses. Its a real Ulster thing that, making excuses.
Who is playing a different sport?
I didnāt use retired players. I explicitly said Iām not using Eoin Bradley, Patsy Bradley, Fergal Doherty or Gerard OāKane.
I can only assume you are confusing my use of Emmett Bradley, the midfielder for Glen who has been with Derry for the past two years with Eoin Bradley.
As I said, Iām not making excuses for Derry, itās their own doing and they wonāt kick on until they sort it out.
As usual your points are utterly irrelevant as you are arguing things that arenāt being argued.
For what itās worth Paddy Kelly has done absolutley nothing in the past 5 years so Cork have effectively lost an injury prone, vastly overrated player.
Have Kerry named their team yet?
It was named on Friday evening. Couldnāt name it off the top of my head now, but no real surprises as I recall.
Anyone really interested in this match? Canāt see anything but a Merry win.
Yep Iām very interested mate
Kerry to win by whatever they want.
Jesus thereās a great crowd in Killarney considering the state of Cork football
Great town for a match, Killarney.
This could be very, very ugly for Cork.
Jaysus this is going to be a massacre
Mikey Geaney looks to have developed into a good player.
Red rover.
Kerry 3 points in 2 and a half minutes from play.
Training match for Kerry
This is a turkey shoot. Iām switching on the Tour de France.
The gulf between the two sides is absolutely gigantic.
Cork have very little pace in their side.
This Cork team are a walking, well ambling, advertisement for the re-introduction of the Tommy Murphy Cup.
