I had a row with an old lad at home over the weekend (@anon67715551 it was MT) over the Galway Roscommon match.
He said Galway would win by 10 or 15 points.
I said Roscommon would win. My reasoning was that Roscommon were a Division 1 team this year and Galway were a Division 2 team and I thought that Roscommon had better players.
His reasoning was that Roscommon got relegated and Galway got promoted and that accounted for the 10-15 point swing.
Never.
Despite being at home I think we will do well to win this evening. Our record in Semple isnāt great. Lost to Sligo and Louth there in the league. I canāt put my finger why, as we seem to do well in other big pitches like Croke PK.
We seem to have a much better record away from there.
Our bench is light also. Hope they get a good crowd there.

Neilan is one of the better refs on the circuit but a poor decision not to allow advantage there.
