Some chat on twitter that Kevin Feely will miss Kildareâs next game due to accumulation of black cards this season.
Very good point, not a great point, most senior footballers in the country will have done that in training at some stage.
I wouldnât say Dublin didnât care about that game, but they clearly undertrained early this year. And hard to blame them.
Kerry really went after that final and by all accounts celebrated it very heavily too, giving the impression it was hugely important.
Its pure speculation to wonder who benefitred more from it, but i would think Kerry were far more ear full tilt than Dublin. The reserves will continue to improve. Just like John Small, a bit oart 2 years ago, a regular last year and now a standout. He is nullifying very good players regularly now.
Another thing is injuries. Kerry carry a fair few injury prone players, way more than Dublin. That could haunt them yet.
He was definitely shooting. Lively crisp shot.
He is a talent that fella. Bit like Austin Gleeson yet maybe, but he takes a bit of stopping
A tramp
Gaelic football is soccer with hurling rules applied to it, and thatâs fact⌠To entice the Anglicised irish back to some sort of Irishness they had to invent a game for them⌠So Tommy tan now plays Gaelic football - hurling with a football that theyâve gone and turned into fisty ball.
Itâs like Cavanagh has no feeling in his chest, he barely flinched or reacted to it at all.
Probably used to having the nipples shaved raw with a cheese grater.
You drunk again?
I very rarely drink, mate.
Odd that hurling is very popular in rugby country.
Whatâs the problem there?
If you canât see the problem there, youâre part of the problem.
It is in Laois anyway
Just show show ill informed our Anglocized Irish are - Hurling is an ancient game, mate, over 3000 years old - Itâs hurling country, mate, rubby only came to the island in the 1860s⌠The fastest growing game in Ulster is Rugby - big numbers from Donegal and Mid-Ulster now getting involved, Cathoilcs too⌠A few years ago they were saying that a quarter of the crowd at Ulster games were Catholics and it was growing year on year â Rugby is big in every part of the Island now - With Dublin and the wider pale (Gaelic football country) supplying the biggest numbers.
There was a draw!
Kildare v Armagh, winners v Tyrone.
Down v Monaghan, winners v Dublin.
The draw we all wanted. Nothing but rational and great debate for the next week. And no mention of bets and discussing the same thing over and over. Gas lads.
