2017 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

That Galway fan, even after that consolation score, still believes…

Occasions where Shane Enright has avoided a certain black card in latter stage Championship:

a) 2014 AI semi final replay against Mayo (should actually have then been followed by red but he avoid any sanction while on a yellow)
b) 2015 AI semi final where he rugby tackles Peter Harte to the ground, yellow card given though it’s a clearcut black
c) 2017 AI quarter final v Galway after blatantly body checking Johnny Heaney off the ball, potentially a red card such was the reckless nature to it. Yellow card given.

Kerry beat the handicap as expected. Without breaking a sweat.

You’d feel sorry for Damien Comer. Very few other Galway players have his moral courage and honesty of effort.

Different shades of shite.

Hon the Rossies

Quarter-final draw now on RTE Radio 1.

Monaghan v Dublin
Armagh v Tyrone

Armagh v Tyrone likely to kick-off at 4pm, Monaghan v Dublin likely to kick-off at 6pm next Saturday says MC John Murray.

I’d say he had some sup of porter inside.

Brolly not happy with McStay’s attitude there I’d say. He’s winding up.

Mayo by 10-12.

I’ll say Mayo by 12-14 points.

some of the comments about the kerry galway game are a little immature TBH
kerry absolutely sauntered thru that, all that game serves for them is as a pipe opener for the real fare in august, yes from places like cork and armagh we might find that disrespectful and arrogant, but it’s fucking true
what did dolan say 17 years since we have had the qualifiers and in those 17 seasons Kerry have always been in the quarter finals, Down caught them in 2010,ill ask @Sidney did anyone else
Look, Galway are a shambles of a team, kerry just beat what was put in front of them and did it without even breaking sweat, they’ll work their balls off now for a crack at i presume Mayo (factoring in Galway’s win over Mayo was a fluke and Roscommon’s defeat of Galway is a true reflection of where they are at)
yeah Galway had 34 chances, that’s all correct, they were just not good enough, Kerrry, Dublin dont peak for thus time of year, all they are doing is stretching their legs in prepration for an inevitable clash in september

the west is awake my fucking hole…

True, Kerry always get a handy route to the quarters.

Loftus not starting, Durcan in.

RTE only find out 6 minutes from throw-in.

100%
and they stumble into croke park and every year i think bar 2010 will beat whoever is put in front of them at this stage
we’re into the big leagues now kerry dublin and tyrone mayo in the admirable reserve seats, the rest of them are just tagging along and in bonus territory

A black card will put Keegan out of the semi.

This would then be appealed and overturned.

Cassidy sounds like he was on the tear last night.

Aye.

Still not as inane as Dolan, Carr or Carney.
