If kerry played in a more competitive competition tgey would have 60 All Irelands
There’s 25 or 26 diddy teams in it every year. If you lose to Laois (twice) like Armagh did last year or at home to Longford like Monaghan did, no business whinging about not making last 8.
And Dublin and Mayo.
Why do you single out Kerry when Dublin get the exact same thing?

They’re about the same level. Tipp, Clare and Cork are probably marginally worse than Kildare but better than the rest of them

He might be an option as a stop gap full-back or sweeper, especially if Mayo play Kerry.
He’s played as a sweeper before - I think it was two years ago, most notably against Donegal.
Maybe in recent years but over the past 10/15/20/25 years, Leinster football has been much more competitive than Munster.
Very hard to argue with that in fairness.

Fair enough. Dublin’s most successful period has been when Leinster is at it’s worst though so surely that reinforces your point more than the Kerry example?
Dublin have won 3 of the last 4 AIs and the there’s only a handful of counties that can put it up to them. Even when Kerry were winnings lots of AIs in the 2000s they had it put up to them and were beaten by an array of sides.
So Kerry won tougher all Irelands?

Yes including Cork and Limerick who put up a much better fight in those years than any Leinster team is now
Kerry were knocked out of the championship by three different counties in the 2000’s, Meath, Armagh and Tyrone and just lost provincially to Cork as well. In the first seven seasons of this decade, Dublin have been knocked out of the championship by Cork, Mayo and Donegal and lost provincially to Meath. Kerry won 5 All Ireland’s last decade. Dublin only on four, albeit still three more up for grabs.

They weren’t as good as Dublin and the advantages they had with Championship format held over others made a tangible difference in them winning AIs.
