2017 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

Dublin v Tyrone is the game that has been years in the making.

Only one county has had the players, the tactical awareness and the stones to compete as equals with Dublin on a consistent basis over the last five years and there’s only one county that Dublin and Dublin supporters fear.

That county is Tyrone.

Yes. As far as I can recall Morgan is far less likely to implode than Cluxton. For me, Morgan is the best in the business.

When did they compete with them before?

Not a conversation worth having

The aggregate margin of Dublin v Tyrone games since Jim Gavin took over is Dublin +1.

When have Tyrone competed with us on a consistent basis over the last 5 years? In the last 5 years Dublin has won 3 all Irelands, Tyrone hasn’t even been in a final.

Speak for yourself you dildo.

Tyrone are some team. Their All Ireland to win.

Really disappointing games though.

I don’t mind that.Cluxton is a great goalie. He also boxed the head off trigger.Nuff said.

+1. That Dublin-Tyrone game is simply unmissable. Probably the biggest GAA match since Tyrone-Kerry in 2008.

Ah yea, as goalies go, he’s the best this side of Charlie Nelligan.

Kerins

Goalies before cluxton=Boom it down the field as far as you can.

Goalies are just shite outfield players

Cluxtons advantage was actually playing alot outfield.

I always felt having played a fair bit in goal it helped me the other way around

I’d say this has gone up in order of likelihood.

O’Rourke has done a very fine job with Monaghan but he’s brought them as far as he can.

That 2013-2015 double Ulster-winning team just about got the back end of the careers of old stalwarts like Vinnie Corey, Dessie Mone, Paul Finlay, Dick Clerkin and Tommy Freeman. They’re all done now.

Conor McManus isn’t going to get any better.

They’re a level below the top and aren’t ever going to bridge the gap.

It’s starting to be a specialised position nowadays thanks to cluxton and the introduction of the mark
