2017 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

Wrong pass. Put it into traffic when there was a man outside.

Hmm …Just like the 2015 all ireland football final the inventors of the game , who we are told can execute the skills of football like no other ,struggle to do the basics once again in the inclement conditions. …

Higgins.

Thought Higgins was on geaney until he was taken off and then the sub that replaced him?

Maybe it was Boyle then. Hard to know watching on TV but thought it was Higgins early on anyway.

Colm O’Rourke saying “all the impetus is with Mayo”.

These cunts haven’t a clue.

Banty and Tommy Carr on the radio both very confidently tipped Kerry by six points.

Kerry were well overrated coming into today.

Mayo pulled a trademark Mayo performance out of the bag - they were dominant, but still couldn’t pull it off*.

I think Mayo have shot their load. They’ll lose the replay in agonising fashion.

*I tried to think of a better sexual metaphor there but couldn’t.

We’ll Be about six pints in by throw in. We’ll need it

More to the point, who was marking Boyle in the first half?

And why inexplicably was he taken off again when dominating.

This is where numbers and stats are having a negative effect. They give Seamie Shea 7 or 8 fuck ups before taking him off. Its bananas…

Disagree Mayo have shot load. Kerry are just not that special. Well at best they are not playing to what suits them best.

If it was o brien then it might go some way to explaining why boyle was replaced as o brien did serious damage in first half…if not then it was bizarre to take boyle off…eventhough his replacement did kick the equaliser. .

Yes, I don’t think Boyle should have been taken off. I don’t know what Rochford has on him, and yes, Seamus O’Shea was a ponderous mess.

I truly believe that Mayo are better than Kerry. I believe they will go close again in the replay but still find some way to let Kerry win.

I really want to be wrong, as I think I genuinely love this Mayo team.

I’l be stalking them to the replay in Dublin next Saturday.

Obe thing though is how ordinary Kerry can look without Donnacha Walsh. Phenomenal loss.

That was such an enjoyable game, one of the most intense, raw games I’ve been at in a long time.

Looking at the game as a whole, Mayo left it behind them. Glad to get the draw though, and I don’t think there’s any danger that this was their one chance, they’re well able for this Kerry team. Have to keep up the ferocity and controlled aggression, it rattled and disrupted Kerry, especially their forwards.

I know Andy Moran will deservedly take the plaudits, but Jason Doherty was sensational again today. He wins so much ball and is excellent at starting dangerous attacks with quick layoffs. Harrison was savage as well. Seamie not at the races really, Vaughan would do better there and allow Durcan into the team.

Kerry resorting to a blanket defence nearly got them over the line in the end …they may start the replay with it

You fucking prick… A brave man behind a computer. I’d fucking murder you if I ever caught you.

Huh? They had a blanket pal. …mayo had to work the ball over and back…now i know you were dragged up in the limerick ghetto but your keyboard is writing cheques your malnourished body can’t cash…
