2017 All Ireland Senior Football Championship

Gough was excellent today. He could be in line for the final now as this was a replay.

He always seems to be in control.

Donaghy had 2 little jabs so poor Aidan today.

Get out of my head.

Given Nigel Owens’ refereeing masterclass in this morning’s Bledisloe Cup match and Gough being by general consensus the natural successor to his countyman David Coldrick as Gaelic football’s top referee, one would have to wonder if there is something inherent in homosexuality that causes gays to be good referees.

Joy Neville gave a masterclass in Rapistshill today.

+1
Joy is a lovely girl.

That’s great to hear. Although I haven’t a clue who Joy is.

RTE’s Saturday Sport didn’t hold back in their analysis of Ireland’s women’s Rugby World Cup campaign, calling it a “disaster”, which was nice to hear.

Tom Tierney has been torn to shred by some heifer in the Times today.

Is Gough a gay?

Have Kerry ever lost All-Ireland semi-finals in two successive years before?

The answer is yes.

1950 and 1951 was the last time it happened.

But I am having trouble finding the last time Kerry lost two All-Ireland semi-finals in a row in successive years.

The last time Mayo won the All-Ireland in 1951, they beat Kerry in a semi-final replay.

The omens are lining up, just as they did in 2012 (September 23rd), 2013 (Kilkenny not playing a championship hurling game in Croke Park for the first time since 1951), 2015 (15 the inverse of 51) and 2016 (Sam Allardyce and Old Sam Ryder both going west in the same week as the final replay).

To absolute fucking shreds

Id love to see Mickey Hartes Tyrone rip up the form book and bate the Dubs tomorrow.

It would make a great AI final.

Quick note, Tyrone v Dublin is a Semi Final.

I’ve been thinking about it this evening. I think Dublin vs Mayo would be a savage match that would go down to the wire but I’m leaning towards the novelty of a Mayo vs Tyrone final.

If Mayo are to be bridesmaids again, Jesus who would begrudge Mickey Harte another All Ireland.

It will cost me but I think I’d like to see a Mayo vs Tyrone final

Same as,

It would be a win-win for the neutral…Mickey Harte winning another AI would be brilliant, as would Mayo finally getting over the line.

Yeah another Mayo defeat would be easier to take if it was Tyrone for sure

Definitely.

From a footballing point of view Mayo would find it easier to accept losing another final to Dublin than losing to Tyrone.

Losing to Tyrone would destroy them.
