Taz seems to be denying that Dublin hold natural advantages over the rest of the country when it comes to playing and financial resources. It’s the type of outlooks unionists have.

Dublin have a population of 1.5m.

They receive more funding than the rest of the country combined.

They’ve just had a multi million training centre built for them free of charge.

They have all their players working and living within a 20 mile radius of their training base

They play all their home league games and all their serious Championship games at their home grounds.

They are all advantages that re unique to Dublin. These complaints weren’t in evidence in 1995 because Dublin did not have the level of funding they receive now, nor did they have the same structural organisation that allows them to maximise the natural advantages they have over the rest.

I think he acknowledged that Tyrone were poor. It is not wrong to say that Dublin have a number of big advantages over other teams. They still have to go out and perform, and they do and fair play to them.

To Dublin GAA as a whole it is a massive advantage.

It’s a state of the art GAA campus on their doorstep that will only be a bonus to Dublin GAA. Not much use to GAA in Laois or Offaly now is it?

Well Dublin based Offaly Senior Footballers use the gym in the winter so yes it is of some use to them.

There is no bar or nightclub on site so it’s of no benefit to Laois…
